Shocking after sales service

I Traded my old car in and was promised that my money wil be in my account on 21 December at the latest, i followed up on a daily basis and was assured that my payment wil be processed and after following up again today i was told that my payment will not be made untill the 8th January due to staff being on holiday [probably with the money they owe me], Anybody who wants to deal with this dealership should really consider if this is the service that would like to expect?
