Worst Insurance in South Africa

SA Home Loan doesn't even deserve even 1 star. I have been with them for over 3 years. I haven't claimed even once. I lodged a claim for the 1st time on Friday the 13th because we boticed a hole in the garage. Everything was fast and the evaluator came the very same day. Tuesday I got a call that the service provider were unable to get hold of me which was a lie coz I didn't have any missed call. I called the service provider and they never called me and further informed me that they handed everything over to the insurance company

Thursday I decided to make follow up and I was told my claim was rejected and they sent email the previous day. I informed them that I wouldn't make follow up if I had received the email, the lady told me my claim was rejected and she sent me the email confirming that. I later spoke to Banele who told me they don't cover pre existed damage. I asked her why was the house approved in the first place with the very same damage. I'm so disappointed coz they should not have approved our bond in the first place if they noticed the damage that they now claim they can't repair. This is the worst insurance anyone can rely on now wonder their rating is so low. This is goodbye from me
