Waste of time in swapping applications

As part of discovery home loan applications it was put to SA home loans, and the fact that the application is still with them for 4 months.. and little to poor feedback unless I ask for it, raised it to the line manager, who says we'll respond the next day, 2 weeks later nothing, call again and say I'll get an answer within an hour.. 4 hours later and nothing, there is nothing keeping them to their word. I'm surprised if they even are successful with any applications coming through them, and a poor choice by discovery to partner with them.
