The most UNHELPFUL Financial Institution ever
The Statistics speak for themselves. Out of some four hundred and seventy odd reviews submitted here, there are only seventy three that are in SAHL favor. That is disgusting!!! More worrying, is that SAHL really don't care about their clients, or the predicament they may be in. Lets face it, we all land up in a situation for whatever reason at some point or another, which gets you into an arrear situation. The economy on its own can put you there, SAHL Don't care, they simply bully you into a corner with threats of sales in execution. Usually adding more costs by way of legal fees that you did not request. I am burdened with two bonds with them. One, according to SAHL, I am a model client, the second is Lawyers Guns and MONEY!!! They have a so called Sale Assist Program. This, if taken up could cost you a few grand just to register onto the program. Things they claim they do for their money is done by any Estate agent as part of their service. They do not care about the circumstances that has put you in a predicament. They assume the worst and follow there procedures, which is to foreclose on you as soon as possible, and get your property on auction to solve their outstanding balance, and to get you out of the way. Often at a price that leaves you the bondholder having to pay in additional amounts. That just BLOWS MY MIND. If anyone at SAHL reads these comments, they can be sure I will be defending all actions instigated by them, as well as a Forensic Audit on both my bond accounts. Having dealt with other financial institutions before, being some of the known commercial banks, they have a meaningful assistance program that actually makes the process so much more effective. SAHL have nothing in their assistance ****nal that could help you. My point to this, If I saw no chance to fix the problem that currently exists, I would have simply tendered the property back to them voluntarily, and be done with it. But to lose so much of your hard earned investment into the property is absolutely crazy, and should be *******. All it would take is a little latitude, without the threats and bullying and costly interventions they impose (without your consent by the way) and allow you to trade out of the problem. I suspect there is a huge genre of ******** within the SAHL world, and I know that there is an element of buyers who get inside information of properties going on auction. I know this as I was approached by one of these buyers who offered the property back to me for a small profit. He was the only one at the auction. SAHL had to return the property back into my name at the time which was in 2008. All I can say, is that if you have options, explore them before looking to SAHL, and if you do, make sure your contract is properly looked at by your own attorney before signing. Never trust or take there word for anything
