Terrible service and ridiculous assessment

A tree damaged my roof - SA homeloans - where i have been a loyal client/customer for 16 years! sent out somebody to asses the damage. For some reason the damage according to them only costs R3500- to repair. They tell me that their contractors are too busy to fix it and that i have to find my own. They pay me the R3500- I get 2 quotes to fix the roof one for R10 000- and the other for R6500- the amount isn't even close to what SA homeloans paid me. (minus of course the R700- that you're in for) I then attempted to get hold of the consultant who is supposed to be assisting me...which is impossible. In the meantime my roof is actually dangerous as tiles can blow off and hurt somebody very very badly. So very very disappointing to be dealing with a company who seemingly takes pride in their fresh approach to home finance attitude. So very humiliating. Whatever you do avoid SA Homeloans they will ***** you...
