SAHL USES *********** CONTRACTORS FOR CLAIMS

On the 19th March I logged a claim with SA Home Loans that my geyser had burst. Amazingly within 12 hours FITT RITE Plumbers were there to fix the problem, however I cannot say the same for Thames Construction and Merle's Carpets who are still giving me the run around in bringing my home back to the original state before the burst geyser! I have paid the necessary excess, I have made numerous phone calls to follow up but nothing gets done! This week I was told by both contractors that the repairs would be carried out this week. As today being Thursday I phoned them both to find out when they will be arriving! Needless to say I receive a call back from Thames to say they have an issue with staff and can only do the repairs Monday! Then Merle's Carpets say the laminate flooring that I chose is now discontinued by the manufacturer and I will need to make another choice on Monday? It's now almost a month and I cannot stand the smell from my bedroom anymore and to make matters worse SA Homeloans has STILL NOT APPOINTED ANOTHER CONTRACTOR!!!! Pathetic service.
