SAHL - STAY CLEAR OF THESE BROKERS!!!

This post is a warning to all South Africans and Foreigners alike. Please be aware of this company. I have never come across a company that *****s from people this much...it is disgusting and shameful! They will go take a monthly bond installment of R9000 for example, whereby literally only R3000 of that goes toward your bond payment, while the other R6000 is for admin fees, handling fees and a load of other charges which is designed to keep you in-debted to SAHL. They don't care about your struggles.....don't bother explaining about your difficulties or that you just became unemployed or that you are a single parent......THEY DO NOT CARE!!! They will rather threaten to take your house if you do not make payment, but thy will not even negotiate to meet you halfway...and in the process if you pay what you have to pay...they will pile on legal charges, arrears charges and more. So where you were supposed to initially have paid your house bond in 10 years for arguement sake, they will ensure with their charges that you end up paying it over 20-30 years. This may sound like an exaggeration, but it is not because this is exactly what my parents are going through. After paying R3000 more than monthly installment amount for more than 3 years, going into the fourth year, still SAHL is claiming that we are in arrears, which is apparently due to two default payments??? The problem is, don't bother getting legal assistance because it will not help. SAHL is a broker and due to this they do not abide to bank laws, or financial laws for that matter...they have their own criteria because it is privately owned. Please do not fall into the trap of being sold this lovely bond package y the consultant..because that very same consultant will make your life hell, after the deal has been closed.

I have been dealing with one consultant in particular (Monique Prinsloo), who is one individual who has a sense of entitlement and addresses clients with zero respect, and instead makes pathetic threats!

Therefore, I urge everyone who rads this post to please take note and think twice about SAHL..you will make the biggest mistake of your life...don't do it!
