SA Homeloans too big for their own shoes

We have been clients of SA Home Loans for 10 years and paid the loan down to 40% of its value. We approached the company to review our rates as I was approved when I was a student. The rate we got at the time made sense as I was a riskier borrower but when we approached them now to review the rate they gave me an arrogant answer by basically referring me to the loan documents I signed where they gave me my rate then. I now work for a bank and I know all the banks assist with this. I WILL be moving

Hi Cerize. SA Home Loans is a non-bank lender whose rates are determined at origination following a credit assessment. Regrettably, we do not have a mandate to review individual interest rates outside of the predetermined quarterly reset dates. Should you however be in possession of a documented bank offer, we will be happy to refer the same to our external investors for consideration, in the hope that we can successfully retain you as a valued client.
