SA Homeloans claims REJECTED

I am very disappointed in SA Homeloans. Every time I put a claim in they find a way to not pay for the damage. My house is an old property. More or less 40 years old. When I put in a claim for my front wall beginning to fall, I was told it is because it is old and due to wear and tear. My geyser burst. I have parkay flooring. By the time the evaluators came out to inspect most of the water had dried and the terrible stench had gone away. They did not pay for the damage as... The house was old and the floors were damaged due to wear and tear. Now, I put a claim in for a leaking pipe in the wall. I was told that they do not cover leaking pipes in walls. I must get it fixed myself and then put in a claim for the rest of the damage done from the leaking pipe. I did just that. Yesterday, my claim gets rejected. Firstly I waited from April up until yesterday for a response. Understandably with Covid it is slower but that waiting period is unacceptable. They will not cover the damage to the tiles or wall as it needed to be broken to get to the pipe and surprise surprise I was told, the bath paint is peeling off due to wear and tear over the years. I painted that bath, which was green , and is now white and NEVER had a problem with paint coming off. I wonder why I am actually paying house insurance if I'm constantly rejected for my house being old.
