SA Homeloans

I lodged an insurance claim with SA Homeloans on the evening of the 24th November. Johannesburg or rather the South of Johannesburg experienced a terrible hail storm. Because it has been raining I did not notice the damage in the passage leading to my room. I felt rain drops on my head looked up and the ceiling was damaged. I immediately phoned SA Homeloans emergency claims and was told they can only submit the claim if it was a burst geyser. I then phoned the morning of the 25th November. Contractors were sent to my property however nothing has been done. Last night more lightning and thunderstorms experienced further damages incurred. Phoned SA Homeloans today, 5th December was told that SA Homeloans need has other clients that has more damage than mine and I should be patient. Really so I do not pay home insurance and should wait. So should I wait to pay my insurance as well as there are more than 300 claims according to the consultant Neil who explained that it is normal not to receive feedback as to my claim. Well infact SA Homeloans never approves my claim so I am not sure why I am paying Home Insurance because it clearly does not benefit me.
