I have been with SA homeloans for almost 8 years and I can tell you they are the worst insurance company out there. Everytime you have a valid claim they look for every excuse under the sun not to claim liabilty or only give you a partial payout or have and you have to get your own service provider to carry out repairs. My servant qauter, braai area and garage suffered damage as a results of flooding of Oct they took no accountability said it was poor workmanship yet I bought the house with those those buildings already built and their inspectors said it met al criterias now all of the sudden when its time to pay they say the leakage is due to poor workmanship cancelling my insurance with immediate effect.
