SA Homeloan Insurance Company ABSOLUTELY THE WORST

We purchased a house 5 years ago and are insured with SA Homeloans Insurance. They assessed and insured the home. After moving in, during the heavy rains we had major roof leaks throughout the house. We contacted S.A. Homeloans Insurance who sent someone out to assess and got back to us saying its a maintenance issue, declined the claim and said we need to repair at our cost. We then took a loan and redid the entire roof of both the main building and out building. The batters, roof plastic and roof tiles were replaced with new ones which was not cheap. This was around 2 years ago. During the last rains, my prayer room roof was dripping water again from the ceiling. We contacted S.A. Homeloans Insurance again but a week after the storm due to a hectic work schedule and their consultant was quiet rude on the phone asking why we calling a week later but they sent someone out. Their expert informed me that he can see the roof tiles, battens and plastic are new but there's a lot of tiles cracked and it seems like a batten has collapsed which is causing the roof to sink in. He said he cannot be sure unless he removes the tiles. SAHomeloans Insurance got back to us again declining the claim, stating the tiles are cracked and not set properly and batten broken also wood damaged. Once again they state we need to repair at our own cost and send them proof of it or they will not approve any further claims. This is by far the worst Insurance company anyone can have and they are all about taking your money, increasing their premiums regularly and ensuring they find any excuse they can to decline any claim. We took a loan the first time round and had the roof redone which was around 2 years ago while paying them when they insured the property after they evaluated it. That's a extra cost to us. There are ******s here every week around 2 to 3 times a week. We cannot be sitting somewhere to ensure they stay off the roof. Nor do we regularly go up and check the roof for no reason. We noticed the problem after doing the roof at our cost and obviously only once the damage was already done. If there is an issue caused over time ( after redoing the roof) or cracked tiles due to ******s jumping on the roof, we only know once we see something and S.A. Homeloans Insurance is very quick to say "it's a maintenance issue and repair at own cost "together with their threat of declining any future claims which is what they doing. SA Homeloans, why should we pay you exorbitant amounts every month if you won't be there when you should?? Absolutely worst company to deal with.
