Following their explicit instructions, I made a significant payment to the municipality, trusting their assurance that this would facilitate the further lending process. Despite my full compliance, they later referenced contractual conditions that, while present, were never explained as potential deal-breakers. Had I been made aware, I would have approached the situation differently.
