This is a copy of an email i sent to SAHL.

I have been given the run around by your consultants regarding the situation with my bond account. I spoke to Mthandeni in your arrears dept, she could not assist i was then put through to a Yusiki who put me through to a Sam who promised a reply.

The problem I have is that I made a lump sum payment of R200k into the account and I received a email from SAHL telling me that I was in arrears. This is absolutely unacceptable as I had assumed the money would be used to pay for the monthly installment. To now be told that they deducted the payment from the capital and then charged me interest again on the balance with a monthly installment is another way that big business *****s the man in the street. I was not behind with the repayments when I made the R200k lump sum payment.

I want the capital amount I paid to be refunded immediately and i will continue making the monthly payments as originally calculated. I am getting legal advise and will put this out on social media.
