Our managers lunchtimes are more important that customer queries and deadlines.
I have app**** for finance from Wesbank for a Solar System for my property of which SA Homeloans is the bond holder. Wesbank require a waiver of accession to ensure that should something happen the solar system remain their property until the finance agreement is agreed to.
I have been busy with this for 2 weeks in which SA Homeloans explained to me they will be able to ensure the system once it is installed.
In the meantime, Wesbank are saying if I cannot obtain the necessary documentation the approval will be withdrawn. They gave me till close of business on Friday 19 July 2024.
After holding on for close to an hour I were promised that I will be receiving the documentation before 12:00 today.
I phone just before 12:00 to enquire what is the hold up. Been told after holding on for 26 minutes that the manager working with my query today is not available and his manager ais on lunch.
I need to wait another 24 hours.
The reason for this follow up is that even after I threw my toys and explained the urgency the document send back to me was word for word the document, I send them more than a week ago.
What really get me going is the fact that on the document my company name is spelled wrong. This while my company name is on the Bond the hold and in my email address.
I rep**** immediately and even tried to phone back to tell them to correct the letter and sign the darn thing. No such luck as they all pack up and go home at 16:30. I received the email at 16:34.
I have no hope as it seems they have adopted a government department mentality.
Hopefully Candice will read this and get them to correct the mistake and sign the document.
