No support from SA homeloan
Personally I feel SA homeloans is the worst.I have called in seeking assistance or any advice since it has become hard to pay my bond.asking if there's any way I can extend my homeloan term, or Fix my bond and 2 different agents were rude enough to say there's nothing that can be done. You have to pay 😞. My bond goes up twice or 3 times a year it's just crazy!Yet I have never missed a single payment since.13% interest on top of that

21 Jun 2024, 11:47Hi Lucia. SA Home Loans is sensitive to the financial challenges many of our clients are faced with due to an increasing interest rate cycle since late 2022 . Our Home Loans are granted following a careful credit underwrite to ensure that our clients can afford the home loan instalment. Such affordability assessments consider possible rate increases. Our interest rates are determined at origination, and we do not have a mandate to offer clients rate reviews or a fixed rate, given that the latter option attracts a premium. An extended term implies a higher cost of credit due to more interest accruing over a longer period of repayment. We do hope to see some relief in market rates in the upcoming months.
