So, for a bit more than a month, we have been jumping through hoops set by SA Homeloans trying to get our application approved/considered.

Now, after more than a month, and us having to follow up for the umpteenth time, we have been advised that, "Sorry, your employment contract is not long enough for us." Now, dear SA Homeloans. I ask the question again. How is a contract worker, with a signed contract, a higher risk than a full time employee, who can be retrenched at any given time? Please, enlighten me. You demanded an extension on my husband's employment contract, which we requested, and submitted. Now, your response is that the contract has not been extended for long enough. Talk about utter, insane, non-sensical BS, if you ask me.

But you know what, keep your homeloan. We've been fine for the past five years, and we'll be fine going forward. But stop advertising yourself as Switching is Easy/ Making dreams come true and all that smoke you blow up people's asses. Because it's nonsense.
