Homeowners Insurance ******* and wrong ceiling rip out!! Double excess charge!!!!

<p>I claimed for a geyser repair at my home. The ceiling board in the bathroom was partially water damaged. The geyser is in the ceiling directly above the bathroom and is secured on the rafters. The contractor ripped out the ceiling in the bedroom next to the bathroom. Now the insurance company only wants to repair the hole left by the contractor (about a month old). I did not receive any communication from the contractor while the work was being done - if I had, I would have instructed him to remove the bathroom ceiling. The insurance company wants me to pay additional excess as it is now an additional repair. I think this is a money making scheme - I will be moving home loans insurance provider of all my properties.</p>
