Home owner insurance not covering Pool damage

I moved into my new home end of July 2016 in the Glenanda area in Johannesburg. During the heavy rain, thunder and lightning experienced in the month of November 2016 in the Johannesburg area, the pool in my backyard lifted off the ground with the paving around it. I contacted SA Home loans insurance on the 15 November 2016 to please send out an assessor to come and have a look and to advise next steps to get it fixed. An assessor came out to view the damage a week later . I called SA Homeowners insurance during late November 2016 to get feedback on the claim but to date no formal communication has been sent. I called SA Homeowners again early in December 2016 to get feedback and was told by one of the consultants that the insurance company is unable to process my claim as the damage is due to non-maintenance of the pool. I need to understand how it could be my fault when I moved into the house the end of July 2016 and this all happened barely four months later. With the rain over this past weekend the situation of the pool as worsen and I am now afraid it might cause damage to the property if it’s not fixed in time. I believe that this is structural damage to the property which should be covered by the home owners insurance as part of natural disasters. I am attaching the pictures I took of the pool when I just moved in and the damages which occurred in the month of November 2016. Also pictures of what the Pool area looks like today. I eventually received a rejection letter from SA home owners insurance stating that they will not process this claim. I have passed all this information over to every newspaper in the country to raise awareness of the types of cover this insurance company offers. It seems that they dont need the business and the protection of the consumer is the last on their list. Absolutely crazy.
