We app**** for a home loan and specified that we need more money than the purchase price to do renovations after the house is registered on our name as it is in no shape to move in right away.<br> The Senior Property Finance Consultant confirmed that we can register a higher bond<br> Perches price R680 000 and the registered bod is R***<br> The R890 000 was approved as we were able to afford it.<br> It was stated that we will be able to apply for the R*** difference after registration of the property to be used for renovations. This was asked several times to insure we will have access to the whole amount registered<br> Now we tried to apply and we were told that we can only get R37 000. Something to do with the current value of the house. This was not stated beforehand. If it was stated I would have bought a house that is ready to move in to as is.<br>
