I had hair spray in my luggage

I was going through the check point in the airport and as they were scanning my bags they say hair spray. The security searched my bag in front of everyone and removed all the contents in my bag for everyone to see. Then he saw the hair spray then told me to surrender it. I was told it's flammable and not allowed on the flight??? I always fly all around SA I was never searched like that and told to surrender my hair spray. This is so stupid and pathetic. How many people travel with hair spray on a regular in their bags and their bags are checked in all the time. *********** personnel at the airport and I want to be reimbursed for my hair spray I want my R100.00!!!!
