Dear Michael
Eticket ********** 659901 Reference KZDHNO
Disaster struck as we reached the airport Monday 9th July (after checking in 24 hours prior & selecting seats)... We were told there were no flights to our destination Sun City... I learned that SAExpress was grounded on 25th May and immediately contacted budgetair.co.za via whom we purchased our tickets. Their response were: " Dear Monique Jeanne,
As of now we have no update from the Airline regarding flights suspended and also as per the availability we see that, the flight are operating on that day. If we have any update from the Airline we will notify you immediately.
For other assistance please call our customer support at +31-23- ********** .
Kind regards, BudgetAir.com Customer Service

This was obviously not the case when we arrived Monday morning at the airport and had to learn we must try and make a flight operated by Mango to Lanseria. A car needed to be rented with no prior booking that includes a baby seat and enough space for our luggage plus a pram. What a disaster this has been. Traveling with 2 young kids that was a complete nightmare. Why you didn't just cancel the tickets when SAExpress was grounded so that I could myself prepare for alternative routes to reach my destination??? This ould have saved me time, lots of money, inconvenience and a lot to stress & unnecessary stress. Please be assured that even if your wings ever are aloud to leave mother earth again I will never book a flight with you...
I have attached the additional expenses incurred and would like to bring to your attention that the flight tickets were more than double the price per person to Lanseria. I booked these for convenience sake travelling with 2 young children. I paid more than double per person to save time and save the hassle of additional car rental & stress, all of which you have caused. I also spent more than hours Thursday night speaking to Mango a few times and SAA (Elliot the manager on duty) to try and get our tickets sorted for the next day. You truly ruined a very carefully and well planned holiday....
