Good Day Naydia,

As per the National Credit Act and the guidelines set out by the NCR whom we are registered with, Debt Guidance does not directly collect money from consumers. We use a third-party payment distribution agency to do this, called Hyphen.
If you do not allow for your Debt Review payment to go through or do not have enough funds available in your account, the money will not be allocated to your creditors. Debt Guidance can't instruct the PDA to allocate funds that they have been unable to collect.

We tried to assist with your vehicle however the creditors had already terminated the account due to a large amount of arrears, this was out of our control and prior to you contacting Debt Guidance for help, which we advised you of at the time 2 years ago. As we mentioned to you already any arrears would need to be paid in full to avoid repossession.

Consumers who fail to make any payments while under debt review, as you did will not have an account accepted by their creditors for debt review no matter how much we try to motivate on their behalf. Creditors will see your non-payment as a sign that you have no interest in paying/clearing your accounts.

If a consumer does not stick to the Debt Review process our hands are tied. As mentioned there is only so much we can do if a consumer does not stick to the debt review plan, our hands are tied.

We are offended by your comment that we are a ****, we have issued over 700 Debt Review clearance certificates so far this year to consumers that have completed the debt review plan and have regained their financial freedom.

Regards

Debt Guidance.

Yet the bank confirms that the arrears were piling up because you were short paying. They agreed to reduce the installment to R3300 you guys were paying R2700 for the past 2 and half years. The bank was busy sending communication to you guys but you never communicated any of it to me as your client. Most of the information i am only finding out after this mess.

The large amount of arrears is the results of your short payments. And the last time anyone from your company communicated to me was when i was entering into this debt review...
