SA Credit Assessors - BEWARE!!!
In March last year, SA Credit Assessors called me and advised me on what they offer, at the time I had lost my job and was unemployed. So I did listen to the agent, purely out of curiosity. My account was then debited without my consent. I had called them and reported it, they apologized and said they would sort out everything. I never heard from them again. I never signed an agreement with them. So, I couldn't not understand what was going on. During my call with them, I kept telling the agent, this is just me enquiring. I have not agreed to anything. I even asked them to send me the recorded call and I am still waiting.
So, last week I viewed a car and decided to purchase it, the dealership started with my finance application and it was declined because I was under debt review. Never in my nearly 31 years of life, have I ever been under debt review. Upon investigation, I found out what had happened and that SA Credit Assessors have handed me over. I was completely goobsmacked.
Yes the pandemic put the entire country into a financial crisis but I started work again in October 2020 and I paid of all my creditors - my accounts were settled in full. I cannot understand how this company took it upon themselves to ruin my financial reputation, without my consent.
People please beware of this company, don't even take there calls.
To top it off, I have received the worst service in trying to rectify there mess up from a junior employee Abigail. Having a screaming match with me over the phone. I have every right to be frustrated, as this delays the purchase of my car. My accounts were paid out in Nov/Dec 2020 but now I have to wait 20 days for my name to be cleared of the credit bureau because of the complete mess up from SA Credit Assessors!!!
