Enrolled under debt review without consent
Hi Hello Peter
Please assist, My Father (Simon Monyela) was called by a consultant and even communicated on WhatsApp for a debt review, he never gave them a consent to enroll him, the lady asked if he would like to proceed or not and then he was specific that he doesn't want to proceed and that is when the consultant (Baxolile) asked for a cancellation value of R5148. I believe every consent or a contract should have proof, there should be a signed application or a declaration on a recorded line stating that he gave the company a consent to enroll him. The company is totally unprofessional and a big ****.

He signed up for Debt review as a joint application its unfortunate as we have already done most of the administration work hence the reason for the cancellation fee. If your father wished to cancel within 7 business days there would not of been any issue, he was updated through the process and knew exactly what it was however we understand circumstances change and he might not want to be under the process any longer but please do not say we did this without his consent. Our cancellation department will contact him shortly kind regards

19 Jan 2022, 15:03The cancellation was made the following day, I even have proof of communication, the company took more than 7 days to respond not my father. I have proof of communication between Baxolile and my father that was made on WhatsApp. I repeat to say this was done without his consent.
