Laptops not repaired but charged for
3 laptops handed to SA Computers to repair, 4 months after handing them in, and hearing nothing back from them, I drove there and was informed that the units have been repaired for ages but that they are changing systems and the people don't know how to work the system. I was informed that all 3 the notebooks were repaired and that the total cost was something like R1500 (exact amount on my card statement if needed). I paid for the units and returned home. On investigation (I am a IT Specialists myself) i found that no work was done to any of the notebooks and that they are still in the exact same state as handed in.
SA Computers then collected the units from me and has subsequently told me that 2 of the units are irreparable and that the 3rd unit was faulty memory. I know that the memory that was in the machine was not faulty as I specifically took the memory out of one of my other notebooks (that has been running for 2 years now) and placed it in the notebook for testing purposes. They want to charge me full price for this notebook and only refund me the monies paid for the other two notebooks.
I am insisting on 3x working notebooks as paid for already as i have already sold
