Exploitation of leaners by SA Private College

I am extremely disappointed with the way this private college has treated my child who is in grade 10 this year. Despite managing to achieve a 50% pass in Mathematics during June Exam – which is a valid pass mark according to national standards – the school decided to expel him simply because it did not pass second paper and was boasted by the first paper that lead to be expel. They only interested in their "100% achievement" image at grade 12 without making an effort to support learners accordingly. This shows that the school is more concerned about maintaining its public reputation than supporting and developing its learners. Instead of offering additional academic support and encouragement, they chose exclusion. This approach does not reflect true education even though their policy stipulate this unfair treatment, which should be about growth, resilience, and helping students improve. Parents considering this college should know that if your child struggles, instead of receiving help, they may face rejection. Education should be about more than statistics and prestige – it should be about the learners themselves. Just receive the letter now of expulsion so painful!!!
