I would not recommend SA Auto Parts in Halt Road based on my experience. I purchased an engine from SA Auto Parts, and they carried out the installation. During the installation, I was advised that my turbo was faulty and needed to be replaced, so I purchased a replacement turbo from them as well. The problems started immediately. As soon as I left their premises, the engine warning light came on. I reported this straight away and was told that the sensors needed to be replaced. I spent additional money replacing the sensors, but the fault remained. A week later, the engine belt snapped, and my vehicle had to be returned to them. They removed the engine, repaired it, and reinstalled it. Despite this, the same issues continued. I took the vehicle back to them on more than three occasions, but instead of identifying and fixing the problem, I was given different explanations each time. I also reported that the windscreen wipers fitted to my vehicle were not the original ones that were on the car when I left it with them. I was told they had checked their CCTV footage and could not see anyone removing them, but that did not resolve my concern. The vehicle continued to lose power to the point where it would not travel faster than approximately 40 km/h. I eventually sought a second opinion from another mechanic. The second mechanic diagnosed the replacement turbo supp**** and fitted by SA Auto Parts as faulty. I had no option but to pay for another turbo and have it replaced elsewhere. This was after I had already spent money replacing sensors that did not solve the problem. I have retained all invoices, receipts, and email correspondence relating to this matter. After paying for a replacement engine, turbo, installation, additional sensors, and repeated inspections, I contacted SA Auto Parts by email requesting reimbur*****t for at least the faulty turbo and the unnecessary sensor costs. Unfortunately, they have not responded. This entire experience has cost me a significant amount of money, time, and stress. I expected professional workmanship and proper after-sales service, but instead I was left paying another workshop to rectify the problems. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend SA Auto Parts. I hope they take greater responsibility for the quality of their work and how they deal with customers when problems arise.

I bought the engine from SA Autoparts Elsies river in July this year. They sold me engine with oil leaks and they didn't want to fix it until their 1 month guarantee is over. And they **** to me that new belts were fitted, last week of this October both timing and fan belts broke off and affected valves. Buy from them at own risk
