SA Auto Glass Shame!!
Absolutely disgusted with the service and the way they treat their customers! On Friday (14/11) they came to replace my Mercedes windscreen, took the old one out and fit the new windows. Then only they realized it was the wrong windows! They then took out that window again, put the old window back, which was totally destroyed after taking it out. I was told that they can't find the right window and have to order it, it will take two to three days. I told them I need my vehicle and cannot drive it with the shattered windscreen. I was told that they will come back the same day between 14h00 and 15h00 and fit a temporary windscreen so long, as I need my vehicle. They left and that was the last I heard from them, called all the available numbers and no one took my call. They put all the trimmings and parts they remover in my car, loose wires hanging from the roof, nuts and bolts everything in my car on the seats. Below are pictures the way they left my car, I could not go away the weekend as planned, had to cancel my appointments and be stuck by my house. On Saturday morning I received a WhatsApp message from Jo-Ann stating that they can't assist me further and that the insurance company will sort it out. The only apology was for the fact that they did not notice that it was the wrong windows before installation, never mind the state they left my car in, or the fact that I had to cancel my appointments and lost my deposits. Absolutely shocking and disgusted!
