Ryobi lawnmower weak

I bought the Ryobi lawnmower at Game, in about 9 months it stopped working & I hardly used it! I feel its just a ******* as at least the warranty was supposed to be at least a year for it. I am totally disappointed and its unfortunate that I lost the slip!
