Broke my electric windows and refused to take responsibility for the damages

I took my car in for an interior clean (R700) at the branch in Tokai by Blue Route Mall. They did a great job on my seats however broke my electric window switches. When I took it there I dropped off the car both switches were in working order and on receipt of fetching it the manager (Wendy) pointed this out to me saying that it's broken. she confirmed that it was working when we dropped it and it could be due to the heat of the Vacuum when they dried it.

She personally gave me Ryan's number ***ner) and I proceeded to call him explaining the situation. He mentiond he would be at the branch shortly and will revert back to me. I just messaged him (18h35) and he said "they cannot be held responsible for electronics in vehicles". I feel this man is so unreasonable, I brought the car their windows and all in perfect working condition, and it's now set me back a further R1700 to have it repaired.

I work with business owners every day and this is not how you conduct business or treat customers, taking no responsibility and the attitude that "it's not their problem".

Based on all the reviews on HelloPeter and the service I received I will never use there service again and let all my friends and family do the same
