Rwandair refuses to refund ticket

I bought a one way ticket from Rwandair in Kigali on 4 JAN 2014. I requested a cancellation on 3 DEC 2014 from their Johannesburg office [Email Removed] I received a reply from Tressie.M.Tau their Sales and Ticketing Agent stating: Please note your ticket is valid for 12th from the date of travel. Your ticket was for the 30th Nov 2014 and it is valid until 29 Nov 2015, but you will pay a penalty for no-show on the 30 Nov. If you want to use the ticket to travel we can help you just let me know when you want to travel .<br> But to my biggest surprise Rwandair is refusing to refund changing their statement form ticket is valid for 1 year from the date of travel to Ticket expires one year after the date of issue. Basically refuting what their employee Tressie explained to me in writing.<br> This is ***** and all the south African public and the rest of Africa must know how this airline operates its business.<br> If an employee provides wrong information to a customer, the management must take responsibility.<br> Everyone who would like to travel with Rwandair must be warned of the way they run their business.<br>
