The owner of dealership RV Motors is a very dishonest business person

22 Sept 2025, 08:21Good day to everyone. I would like to alert all people on group to be cautious when purchasing a vehicle from RV motors - the owner of dealership is Reuben vosloo
Advertising vehicles by saying vehicle mechanically 100% no money to spend. Make sure if you do purchase a vehicle make sure to take a qualified mechanic with you as some of the vehicles have a lot of hidden defects which he doesn't disclose. Vehicles will not pass roadworthy unless you spend a lot of money. He is also not eager to negotiate nor assistance if their is serious fix required. He doesn't abide by the consumer protection act. Also very dishonest .After you purchase a vehicle from him he blockes you from Facebook and WhatsApp
My daughter recently purchased a vehicle for R50 000k from him
Only noticeable defect was the clutch.
The following day she started the vehicle it was leaking water severely from the water pump and radiator. (Vehicle have not even driven yet - about 12km since purchase)
We tried contacting him to inform him about it he just said it's not his problem he doesn't know what we did to the vehicle. Also refused to take vehicle back swearing dropped the phone and rest is old news by blocking
We took the vehicle to reputable mechanic
Faults on vehicle
*Water pump
*Radiator
*Oil leaks contaminated the clutch
*Ruff idle(map sensor)
*Gearshift linkages
*Shocks
*Exhaust leak rusted to the core
*Vehicle rusted at bottom of vehicle on chassis
*Cambelt and tensioner rotten
*Passenger door lock mechanism & faculty central locking
After about spending almost 17k on vehicle in parts and labor vehicle was drivable and roadworthy for the test
