Rus n bietjie resort excuses for not refunding deposit to tennants.

I have signed a lease agreement with the resort and rented as a tennant for a period of minimum four months of which i gave one months notice long in advance. I vacated the unit long before the termination date and paid rent to date. The resort informed me the new tennant will only stay there for a day when i already vacated and paid for the months rent for April. The new tennant moved into the property long before the end of April. If the new tennant paid deposit and rent why am i not getting my deposit back when everything was in order and electricity was paid up to date. No outstanding monies due to them. When i called them on 02 May i was informed i will be paid by Friday. When i called Friday i was told once they managed to get the cash together they will call me then i can collect my deposit. How long do i have to wait before i get my R1600. 00 back. I am unemployed and i want my money.
