Uneconomical if you are purchasing goods to be delivered as a gift to a recipient

<p>I received a package yesterday(20/06/2016), as a birthday gift for the 27th June 2016, from a friend, it was a track suit , on trying it on I noticed it was over sized. This morning I telephonically contacted Runaway Sale only to be told by Jessica(Community Manager), that Runaway sales, T & C's allows for exchanges but courier will be at my costs.</p> <p>cos of me being based in Durban and sending a small parcel to Cape Town the transport cost is amounting to the price of the track suit, in relation to Runaway Sale, who have a contract at special negotiated rates with the courier company due to the large amount of deliveries to Durban, Hence the track suit is R500.00 courier from Durban to Cape town Return is R500.</p> <p>Just wanted to bring this to the attention of other online shoppers, to ensure that they read the fine print before purchasing. There are organisations like Takealot.com , that will carry the costs of return merchandise.</p>
