Order paid but no delivery

I ordered and pay for items on the 1ste of June already and was told I can expect my order 8-10 working days from payment. It is now 16 working days. I have sent an email to customer care and they do not even bother to reply. If items are on your site for sale why does it take so long to get items to your warehouse??
