Rugged SA products warranty

I bought a laptop end of August 2023, worked for less than 3 months and the battery stopped working, took it back to Rugged SA for repairs, they kept it for almost 2 months because they're waiting for a part that they ordered from overseas to put it on the laptop... brought back the laptop in a worse condition that it was in before, looking old, slow, added an old bag with a different colour dirty and smelling cigarettes because of the repairer was using it for his personal stuff.lt looked used as if it were a different laptop. Contacted them again they took it back and replaced it with a demo that was in their showroom got to me had it's own issues, speakers not working, slow and other issues. Called them back to pick it up and found out that the drivers on the demo laptop were old and need a new software..they fixed it and they sent it back to me as if they are now forcing it on me meanwhile l had told them that lets first sort out these issues the demo has before l receive a laptop that has issues and be the one to suffer with it's inherited problems in the long run but they refused to address it and I requested for a refund because I no longer trust their products and they said they can't refund or replace it l must take the demo the have fixed ..but they are ok with taking it back and forth with courier to fix it and return it and not interested in fixing this back and forth situation permanently which is costing me more on every level than they're company

Good day,

Kindly note that your device was purchased via our online store on the 21st of August 2023. Please find the invoice attached.

The first time it reached our repair center was on the 21st of December 2023.
Here we had replaced the keyboard. At the time, we did not have keyboards in stock so it had to be ordered which caused a delay.

The device was then returned again on the 19th of February 2024.
We had replaced the device for you with a demo unit as this was now the second return. The replacement device was a display unit in our showroom, it was never used. If this unit was not in an acceptable condition, we would require you to have reported it soon after you received it.

Your replacement device was then returned on 29th of April 2024.
We had found that the audio driver was *******. This is a software issue. We had reloaded the audio driver and the device is working 100% and is fully functional.

Kindly note that it is unlikely for windows software and drivers to become *******. It is possible malicious software was installed or the device had a virus.

We have tried to assist you in the best way possible and by honoring our warranty. Before any device gets released from our technical department then it undergoes a thorough inspection and full quality check before the release of the device is approved.

Please note that as per communication with RAM, you have refused to accept the device back. Please kindly make contact with us to find a solution that is acceptable to our warranty and returns policy.

Best Regards,
Rugged SA

When you say l have refused the delivery from RAM, can you please produce a proof of refusal that they have rather than them misrepresenting me which is not right..l have not received an sms, phone call or a WhatsApp with regards to the delivery only an email very late after hours stating that they couldn't get hold of me...how come no senior manager is there to assist me but a laptop can be couriered back to me without my approval and the concerns l have haven't been addressed?
