Bad experience

Very sad experience from Rugged sa. I bought a Blackview A95 in October 2022. Doon after I got it, the battery was not lasting long at all. Then in the beginning of January 2024 one night I put my phone on to charge and a few hours later I checked it and it wouldn't switch on and was not charge at all. I took it into rugged sa repair office and I received a quote for R3784.75 to replace battery and PCBA (printed circuit board assembly) plus screen protector. I asked what happened to the phone and why did this happen? The technician looked like she didn't know what she was talking about and never answered my question. They apparently tried a new battery and PCBA. The battery is 14 months old so I don't think that needs to be replaced. The repair is going to cost R1500 more than what I paid for the phone. How on earth does that make sense?
