Rubrix *******

Rubrix is a property management agent based in and they manage for Malachite Mews in Boksburg. I am in the process of selling my unit and the transferring Lawyers have requested a clearance certificate form Rubrix and I am being charged R1,000 for this clearance. I have for the past 6 months paid exactly the same figure for levies and nothing else as i do not have a tenant so no water or electricity has been used, so the work required was to multiply the monthly figure by 3 and send that to the Lawyers. How can this really difficult calculation draw a cost of R1,000? Where is the right for fair value for a service that needs to be provided. When asking this question to Rubrix I get an explanation that tries to make the calculation very difficult. What a *******, they should be disgusted in themselves that they can charge this amount for doing nothing.
