COMPLAINT OF OFFICIAL *******ION

Dear Sir/Madam, RE: ELECTION TO BE TRIED IN COURT & COMPLAINT OF OFFICIAL *******ION Infringement Notice No.: *** Infringement Notice No.: *** Infringement Notice No.: *** Infringer Name: M. Hassen Kindly find attached the completed Notice of Election to Be Tried in Court (Form AARTO 10), together with supporting documentation, for your urgent processing. Please note that I am electing to have these matters tried in court due to material factual inaccuracies contained in the notices, as well as serious and ********* conduct by the issuing officer. 1. Factual inaccuracies The notices state that the vehicle was “unattended”, which is entirely false. I was present at the vehicle, which was briefly positioned to assist another motorist. Furthermore, the allegation regarding an invalid licence disc is factually incorrect. My licence disc is valid until 31 July 2027. The officer whose name appears on the infringement notice also took a copy/photograph of my licence disc, which was unexpected and caused me to make further enquiries. I also note that the time recorded on the alleged infringement does not reconcile with the three electronic infringement notices received to date. This discrepancy requires investigation. For the avoidance of doubt, I have no issue concerning the tint of my vehicle. The officer was observed taking photographs of vehicle licence discs, and I believe there may have been confusion regarding the information recorded on my infringement notices. 2. ******ion and ************ The male traffic officer whose name appears on these notices allegedly intimidated me and instructed me that I must follow him to an ATM. I refused to comply with what I understood to be an ******** demand for a bribe. I strongly maintain that these three infringement notices were issued maliciously and/or as a retaliatory measure because I refused to comply with the officer's alleged ******** demand. I request that this matter be formally investigated. 3. Evidence available Independent witnesses were present during the incident and may be able to confirm my account. Furthermore, public CCTV footage in the area may have captured the entire interaction, including the fact that the vehicle was not unattended and the conduct of the issuing officer. I respectfully request that all relevant CCTV footage, electronic infringement records, photographs, timestamps and officer records be preserved and reviewed. 4. Request for confirmation Kindly acknowledge receipt of this submission and confirm in writing that: My completed AARTO 10 Notice of Election to Be Tried in Court has been received and processed; The above infringements have been successfully referred for the appropriate Magistrate's Court process; My complaint regarding the conduct of the issuing officer has been formally recorded and referred for investigation; and The relevant CCTV footage and electronic records will be preserved. Given the seriousness of these concerns, I request that this matter be treated as urgent. I look forward to receiving written confirmation and the relevant reference number(s). Kind regards, M. Hassen Very Concerned Commuter Concerned about being unfairly treated, misled and inappropriately dealt with.
