RT auto

I had a clutch problem in my car and decided to take in for checkup at RT Auto shop.RT auto checked it and confirm that the clutch is finished and need replacement. I decided to leave the car with them for further assessment.I recieved a quote from RT saying the total cost to replace the clutch is R6200.00. then I gave them a go ahead to repair the car.on the 24th July 2021 I went to fetch the car from RT Auto when I was about to pay R6200 they said they only take cash. Then I said it's not safe to go arround having 6200 cash in the pocket.He then asked one of his employee to accompany doing the withdrawal in Midrand boulders mall. I withdrawn the money and pay to get the car. A week later I went home in Free State 30km before koppies the car started to do the same thing.i called RT auto,they said I must bring the car in on monday.he also mention that I must drive the car slow.it took me 6 hours to get to where I stay driving on gear 1 and 2.i called him on Sunday he didn't pickup my calls but he could only answered my whatsapps.

I returned the car on the 2nd to RT Auto for recheck. They stripped the car on 3rd cause they said it could be drive shaft in the gearbox.my colleagues came in since I was not being able to go to work. Darren which is my colleague asked RT Auto if they will charge me to assemble the car with new spare if needed and they confirmed to both of us that they will do it for free. I insisted them to open the gearbox they took they time to open the gearbox saying they waiting for a gearbox specialist.then I said okay I will waiting for him.hour later they stripped the gearbox and the was no faults found.then he then wispherd to his employee that he must check the flywheel,only to find that they worked on the faulty flywheel and I could see the sandpaper marks on the flywheel.i asked them how could it happen that they didn't check the flywheel whereas they worked on it?why couldnt they picked it up first time that flywheel will soon be damaged?I couldn't all answer because he started to be defensive and shouting to me.

I called arround to get a quote on new flywheel.Midas was R6100 Goldwagen was R5100 and he said he managed to get one for me at R8500 but it's used.then I said I don't have such amount rather wait I will get a new one from Goldwagen with 5100.i managed to get it and took it to them for fitment on 6th August 2021.he promised he will give me call once the car is ready.he called arround 16:35 saying the is ready.i said to him it's late already I will fetch the car saturday morning. I went to fetch a car in the morning when I get there he said he will charge me R1000 for flywheel fitment.i said to him he didn't notify me about the cost I did all that because he confirmed it will b free of charge.he then said he is doing me a favour otherwise he will charge me more.i said I was there on Friday he never told me anything about charging me now I am here want the car he wants to charge me.then i said why are you only saying now that you charging me because I brought the car in for check up n they didn't perform their diagnosis properly. This was suppose to be done properly first time and they fail to do that.so I paid that 1000 just to get my car out but the treatment I recieved was poor even from his wife/manager.i actually need my money back.we cannot take something in for repair and only no the cost upon collection.its robbing people this.
