Great coaches, but unacceptable treatment of kids when accounts fall behind

I’ve always liked RSD Rugby and the coaches who work with the kids — they’re passionate and do great work on the field.

Unfortunately, I’m very disappointed with how the organisation handled a recent issue. My child, Hendre, has been part of their rugby programme and truly enjoyed it. His account fell behind, and instead of contacting us to discuss a payment plan or solution, they immediately excluded him and cancelled his rugby.

That’s unacceptable, especially for a programme that promotes care and development of young players. Mistakes happen and families sometimes face challenges — but the way RSD Rugby handled this, without compassion or communication, was extremely disappointing.

The coaching side is great, but the administration needs to show more understanding and humanity. I hope they rethink how they treat kids and parents in situations like this, because children deserve better.
