RSA Solar Warranty not Worth the Paper That it is Written on.

I purchased a solar panel, regulator and batteries from RSA Solar and Electronics of 356 Pretoria Street, Randburg. My invoice states clearly that the goods are covered by a 2 year warranty. After 1 month the regulator failed while we were on a trip in the wilds of Botswana ! On my return to Johannesburg I took the item back to RSA Solar and Electronics. After various visits and phone calls to Peter (Cell.no: ********** 005) I have now been told that they they will not honour the warranty. This is a low cost item so I wonder what would happen if an expensive item failed. Please be careful !! Their word is worth nothing. ( Incidentally, the owner of the company is a priest ! )
