Theft and Damage - Tough luck

<p>Nothing but ******* and an owner who doesn't care about his customers nor their things. Do not ever use them. They stole our TV, old cameras, phones and various small items as well as damaging almost every large item they moved - the owners attitude was... Tough luck, you have no proof. A year on and going through our boxes in storage we are still realising the atrocious move they did for us. Heavy potjie pots put on top of glasses in boxes, toiletries and cleaning chemicals in with precious ornaments, most glassware unwrapped, things literally thrown into boxes... Disgusting!!!!<br />Not to mention them arriving 3 hours late and bringing the wrong vehicle which meant they could not enter the complex and had to wheel everything to the gate.<br />When we asked for the inventory list he wouldnt provide it initially and eventually gave us a list of about 10% of what we moved - when we said how on earth is this acceptable we were told (in writing) 'dont be petty'.<br />Most of the good reviews written on the company are by the owner himself. <br />He did not so much as even look into anything... He was defensive from the start and not interested in rectifying the absolute disaster he caused. We had to claim from insurance on some things as theft... As he wouldnt even speak to us as an owner who has wronged his customer. Please please beware of these terrible people!! We are still picking up the pieces. He just point blank refuses. We went to lawyers - however he is obviously used to this because he has a badly written response to lawyers letters which just mean you have to pay more to get anywhere (I assume this is the route he takes as he seemed quite confident with this) <br />Please please dont use this company!!!!!</p>
