Roads and Transport, City of Johannesburg and Tshwane City Failed Me

Department of Roads and Transport, City of Johannesburg - Randburg and Tshwane -Centurion Failed me.

On 20th Ocober 2020 I visited City of Johannesburg in randburg with the intention ofrenewing licence discs for two cars that I sold in 2016 but the new owners never changed ownership. I found out that i owe a lot of money, then i was advised to go to Johannesburg and make arrangements of paying the debt. I went there on the 22nd Thursday and i had to go and pay traffic fines first before they help me.

After making arrangements the next day that is on friday i went back to traffic dept in Randburg to renew licence discs. In Roads and transport dept they never picked up the phone for confirmation of arrangements i made with them. They later picked up the phone in the afternoon and their response wasthey dont respond to enquiries on fridays. Then i was forced to come back on monday.

I did go back on monday 26th, again they never picked up the phone when called by an official from Randburg Traffic Dept. Later that sameday afternoon i was advised to go back to them (Roads and Transport) since in Randburg they cant help without confirmation from them.

on my way to them they phoned and told me its useless to go back to them i must go back to traffic dept. it was too late then cause the traffic dept had closed for the day. I woke up early on wednesday and rushed to traffic dept again, they couldnt help claiming as per my addresss im supposed to go to Pretoria. on Thursday i woke up early and went to Centurion Traffic Dept and they also couldnt help claiming the system is blocking them it shows City of Johannesburg are the ones that are supposed to help. Alternatively i must go to City of Johannesburg and ask them to remove my information. Later that day (Thursday,) a lady from Roads and Transport explaining to me that if i dont renew these licence disc by tomorrow the debt will rise and have to pay more.

Until now i havent renewed my licence disc and the car im using now doesnt have a disc since March
