You have to renew your drivers license every 5 years. You are also expected to book a slot at an authority in advance. As a 76 year old citizen I eventually managed to register on the platform but now there is no slots available for an appointment in the whole of Gauteng. I stay in Centurion and the license office is about 10km from me. I think it is ridiculous to have a service for making bookings but there is no “slots”
