I am lodging a formal complaint against Tay-yibah Booley (NCRDC4552), who operates under the names RSA Debt, RSA Debt Solutions and RSA Credit Solutions. Their contact details: Email: *** Telephone: *** Address: 79 Roeland Street, Cape Town, 8001 At the end of June 2026 I was cold-called by a consultant named Amanda. She told me I was overpaying on certain accounts and that she could check how much I could save. I only agreed to a savings assessment. I was never told that I was applying for formal debt review or that I was declaring myself over-indebted. I have never missed a payment and I can fully afford my debts. I accepted one digital mandate / DebiCheck on my phone. Within approximately two days I sent a voice note and a clear WhatsApp message (7 July 2026) stating that I do not want their services and want everything cancelled immediately. I have repeated this request several times in writing. Instead of cancelling, they: • Placed me under debt review and stopped my normal debit orders (confirmed by my bank). • Later sent a 28-page “Form 16 Pack – Signed” containing multiple copies of the same electronic signature on almost every page, dated 03 July 2026 at “SASOLBURG, UNKNOWN”. I only signed once. The repeated signatures appear to have been copied and pasted. • Demanded a cancellation fee of R6 157.00. This fee and the consequences of cancellation were never disclosed to me before or at the time I accepted the mandate. I have repeatedly requested the call recordings with Amanda. They have not been provided. The company continues to pressure me for the cancellation fee and has indicated that work will continue on the application if I do not pay. I have already referred this matter to the National Credit Regulator (NCR). The matter is under investigation. What I demand from Tay-yibah Booley (NCRDC4552) / RSA Debt / RSA Debt Solutions: 1. Immediate and full withdrawal/cancellation of the debt-review application and all related mandates. 2. Immediate removal of the debt-review flag from my credit record and notification to all my credit providers that the review was not properly consented to. 3. Issuance of a clearance certificate (or equivalent written confirmation) so that my creditors can resume normal deductions. 4. Written confirmation that no cancellation fee or any other fee is payable. 5. Suspension of all further collection or administrative action pending the NCR investigation. I was misled into believing I was only requesting a savings check. Placing a consumer under debt review without clear, informed consent and then demanding a large cancellation fee after an almost immediate cancellation request is unacceptable. I urge Tay-yibah Booley (NCRDC4552) and RSA Debt / RSA Debt Solutions to clear my name immediately and restore my accounts to their previous status.
