Ruined my life
*Subject: Misled into Debt Review by RS Debit Clear - Credit record damaged, no disclosure* Hello, I want to report RS Debit Clear for misrepresentation and deceptive conduct. An agent called me claiming she could see I was being overcharged on my car installment. She said she could lower my monthly payment by R1800. It sounded like a good deal, so I asked if this would affect me in any way. She said “No, it won’t affect you on anything.” I also told her I was in the process of buying a house and asked again if it would impact that. She repeated that it would not affect me. I then asked about her fees. She said I don’t need to pay anything except R17 to approve a new mandate. She said RS Debit Clear gets their commission directly from the bank I’m with. Based on this, I agreed and signed. Only when I started my home loan process did I find out I was placed under debt review. I have been blacklisted and have no credit. I called my bank and confirmed I have no accounts in arrears except my vehicle account, which I pay every month without fail. I have never missed a payment and can afford it. When I called RS Debit Clear for help, the agent became rude on the phone and dropped my call. I received no assistance and no explanation. These people have ruined my financial standing. I’m in my 20s trying to build my life and now I cannot buy a house or access any credit because of something I was told would “not affect me in any way”. I do not owe anything else. I was *******. I am requesting: 1. Immediate removal from debt review 2. Correction of my credit profile with all bureaus 3. Full disclosure of what was signed and how this was processed without my informed consent This is urgent. Please assist. Kind regards, Andile Ncube ***

I was called by one of the consultants (Lerato) at first I was not so sure but when she explained to me about my credit profile and how my balances where slowly going down I knew this was legit. She helped lower my monthly installments on my home loan and vehicle finance now I can save. I'm a happy client I get to enjoy my festive season in peace knowing my accounts will be paid.

I Sipho Duna , I was contacted by RS Debt clear ( Phumelele ) , to assist me with my accounts , they have manage to reduce the interest rate as well as instalment, then I had a Portfolio manager who was assisting me with everything , their service was excellent , I do recommend people to them today . Thank you RS Debt Clear , I will be forever be grateful.
