Complaint

i received an explora via multichoice and arranged for RRT installations to do the installation of my new decoder. they came out to do the installation as arranged, and on arrival i was advised that my satellite dish did not need to be replaced as the one i already had was sufficient. never the less they completed the installation removing my old LNB and replacing it with a new one. after they had left i realised the LNB they had removed was not there. reason being i needed this in order to install my old PVR decoder elsewhere and without this i would need to purchase another LNB. the next morning i called the technicians who had done the installation to ask the whereabouts of the LNB and was told it should be lying around there somewhere! first of all - if it was i would have found it, secondly - i dont believe this to be something you just leave lying around. after i advised them it was not there they said they would have a look and let me know and arrange to bring it back (bring it back - without even confirming that they had it!). they clearly left with it, for reasons not known to me. and to top it off i never got a phone call back to say it was found and would be brought back nor any apology during all of this. as a customer i dont feel it necessary for me to run after something that belongs to me. its now 2 days since i phoned to enquire and have yet to receive a response.
