Royal Schools Only Cares About Money

My son has been attending at Princess Park since grade 1 but during lockdown I couldn't pay the fees and the school wouldn't exempt him either, despite their claims that they got relief funds of about R500 000. I wonder if any child was exempted. I tried to negotiate with the school, I infact wanted to pay 3/4 of the money I owed to the school and finish the rest within a period of 3 months but they were not interested. That woman who works at the finance department was so rude to the other time she told that I was too loud over a phone call, I assume she does it as instructed by her superiors. I found it ********* for a school to threaten a parent with legal action while the parent is still willing to pay the fees. Lockdown circumstances were unforseen and the school didn't show any remorse to parents who weren't able to pay fees. Funny enough they mentioned that they want money to pay the staff but their staff was at home. We were even teaching our children at home during lockdown and buying data but we never complained. While some schools gave a discount to parents for school fees. So the school received relief and still wanted money from the parents, how selfish of them. I never wanted to change the school but I was left with no choice I have however made peace with it and my son is even happy with his new school.
